Gracepoint Fellowship Church is a multi-ethnic and Asian-American church serving the Berkeley, Oakland, and San Francisco communities with ministries for working professionals, singles, couples, college students, youth, and children.
Our church began in 1981, as a college-based ministry in Berkeley under the name Berkland Baptist Church. In February of 2003, we opened a branch in San Francisco, reaching out to the college and graduate students, and working professionals, singles and married couples, throughout the city. Recently, we adopted the name Gracepoint Fellowship Church because this is the place where so many of us experienced God’s grace. We hope to be a place of grace for many more in the years to come.
Gracepoint Fellowship Church's mission statement:
To be a community of Christ-followers who honor God passionately, love each other deeply, and engage the world lovingly.

Key Verse for 2008
|
Philippians 3:8 - What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ... |
Every year, we choose a key verse for our church to help us focus on God's plan in our midst. It's just one way we try to all keep in step with God's Word, together as one body.
