Joyland is the children's ministry at Gracepoint. JOY stands for Jesus, Others and You, and we strive to teach our children to put Jesus first, then others, then themselves.

Joyland is combined at Berkeley Campus.

Yearly Events

  • Spring: Special Easter Service – Jesus is Alive! (April)
    This is the message our children celebrate on this special day.
  • Summer: FTS Retreat (July Summer Camp for fourth-through-sixth graders) Our children spend four fun-filled days at our campground in the Sierra Nevadas, enjoying God's creation, bonding with classmates and teachers, and learning about God's love for them.
  • Fall: Joyland Festival (October 31st) Originally begun to provide a safe alternative to Halloween trick-or-treating, the Festival has evolved into a night of over 15 unique carnival-style game booths, prizes, popcorn, cotton candy, and magic show that our children look forward to all year long.
  • Winter: Joyland Christmas Celebration (December)
    Taking the traditional Christmas pageant and expanding it with modernized skits, Nativity reenactments, verse recitation, and singing and dancing, our children get to learn about and show others the true meaning of Christmas.
  • Special Events and Past Activities Sleepovers, Bible Olympics, Marine World and Ice Skating trips for Bible Olympic Winners, Picnics, Sports Days, Crafts and Baking, Kite flying, Pizza parties, and more!
