Praxis

  • Pronunciation: 'prak-sis
  • Definition: practical application of a theory

Comprised of working professionals, graduate students, singles and couples, Praxis strives to make a difference as a community and to honor God as we live out the word of God on a daily basis in all aspects of our lives. There are men's and women's small groups which meet regularly for sharing, prayer and fellowship.

Regular Schedule

  • Weekly Praxis Prayer Meeting: Tue 7-8:30pm @ 2000 North Loop Rd, Alameda, CA (Combined with our main campus in Berkeley)
  • Gracepoint Monthly Celebration: 1st Fri @ 7:30-10pm @ First Presbyterian Church of Berkeley (Combined with our main campus in Berkeley)
  • Gracepoint Training School: Tue 8:30-10pm @ 2000 North Loop Rd, Alameda, CA (Combined with our main campus in Berkeley).
  • Praxis Small Groups: 2nd & 4th Fri 7-9pm @ various locations (please see our small groups page for more information)
  • Optional Courses: Offered on an as-needed basis. Content includes, but is not limited to: Christian Foundations, 40 Days of Purpose, Starting Point and Jesus: Truth Revealer.
