There is plenty of free street parking available! You can park on the main streets (7th, Folsom and Harrison Street) or the side street adjacent to the park (Sherman Street).

from Union Square: At Mason St & Ofarrell St, take the SF Muni Bus #27/Bryant at 9:42 am and get off at Harrison St & 7th St. Walk half a block up 7th Street away from the freeway to Bessie Carmichael Elementary School.
from AT&T Park: At the North corner of 5th St & Townsend St, take the SF Muni Bus #47/Van Ness at 9:39 am and get off at Harrison St & 7th St. Walk half a block up 7th Street away from the freeway to Bessie Carmichael Elementary School.
from UCSF (Parnassus): At the Irving St side of UCSF, take the SF Muni N-Mission Bay towards Downtown (Inbound) and get off at Civic Center Station. Walk a few blocks down 7th St towards the freeway to Bessie Carmichael Elementary School. It will be on the left side of the street past Folsom St.
from SFSU: At the Northeast corner of 19th Ave & Holloway Ave, take the SF Muni M-Ocean View towards Downtown at 9:14 am and get off at Civic Center Station. Walk a few blocks down 7th St towards the freeway to Bessie Carmichael Elementary School. It will be on the left side of the street past Folsom St.
from Sunset: Anywhere along Judah St, take the SF Muni N-Judah towards Downtown (Inbound) and get off at Civic Center Station. Walk a few blocks down 7th St towards the freeway to Bessie Carmichael Elementary School. It will be on the left side of the street past Folsom St.
