SFSU Koinonia's New Student Welcome Night has come and gone! What an amazing night filled with a funny skit, music, videos, a message and mouthwatering Korean BBQ dinner! We thank God for the more than five hundred new students we were able to meet that night!

At the final Bible Teachers' Training, many of our SF members went up to Sierra for a weekend with Pastor Ed, Kelly and other brothers and sisters from Berkeley. Pastor Ed, gave many sessions of training and feedback on how to prepare Bible studies and deliver them. They also had a great time kayaking at beautiful Lake Tahoe and doing some work around Sierra Lodge. Through this training, they hope to be able to apply what they have learned in their small group and Bible study times.

Some brothers and sisters of the Home Group 1 Praxis group went to Half Moon Bay for a time of kayaking and playing on the beach. Who knew that such a beautiful, sunny place was so nearby? After a time of fun and hanging out, they met together to plan and pray about future ministry opportunities at City College of San Francisco. Let's join them in their prayers for the students of CCSF!

All aboard! Home Group 2 went out to the beautiful Santa Cruz mountains and went for a ride on a train at Roaring Camp. It was a peaceful ride, a chance to just hang out together and be surrounded by God's beautiful creation.

Gracepoint Fellowship Church participated in World Vision's 30 Hour Famine to support world hunger relief efforts with the support of many contributors. We fasted for 30 hours together and volunteered at the local SF Food Bank. Not only were we able to raise money in the end, but our eyes were also opened to the problem of world hunger. Graduations are such a time of happiness and celebration for us as a church as we congratulate our graduates together. Together we cheer our students on to study hard, to not give up and to push through the difficult times. So we always look forward to this time of the year, to celebrate together and cheer until our voices give out!
